The University of La Verne has developed a highly effective model for offerign graduate studies programs. The design of the program is heavily dependent on multi-media technologies. The University's web site provides course materials to students. Electronic contact between professors and students is maintained through both delayed and "real-time" communications capabilities. The model is a balanced approach that combines the advantages of distance learning with the benefits of traditional classroom methodologies. Primary areas addressed include program configuration, delivery, and application of multi-media technology.
