Application of Oil Spectrometric and Ferrographic Analysis on Wear Condition Monitoring of Vehicle Deisel Engine

The fundamental principle of wear condition monitoring of diesel engine with oil spectrometric and ferrographic analysis techniques is introduced. The specific superiority of the two techniques in wear condition monitoring of vehicle diesel engine is displayed by an example.
