DATA and INFORMATION QUALITY AT THE CANADIAN INSTITUTE FOR HEALTH INFORMATION

Data Quality is critical for CIHI. It is CIHI's goal to provide timely, accurate and relevant health information about Canadians and the Canadian health care system. Maintaining and enhancing the quality of the data is essential to our mandate CIHI has implemented a data quality program in which rigor is applied in assessing the quality of the data and the identification and resolution of specific data quality issues to ensure that the data collected and reported is of the highest quality.
