Through the on-the-spot investigation and monitoring of time-and -space distribution and variation pattern of the pollutants and the traffic flow and weather factors from the car tail gas at the typical cross section of Nongyelu and Wenhualu of Zhengzhou, the article uses one-dimension of even-speed and equal-distance traffic model to analyses the relationship between traffic flow and traffic noise. The result of the research indicates: 1) Traffic flow variation is great at day time. The traffic flow includes 56.4% of taxis, 20.4% of motorcycles, 23.2% of other vehicles. 2) The density and amount of pollutants from tail gas is greatly related to the traffic flow and traffic speed. The influence order of the pollutants on the environment is H_yC_x > CO > TSP > Pb > NO_x. 3) The density of pollutants in H_yC_x, CO, Pb and NOx increase with the increase of wind speed, and the increase of temperature with the decrease in density, as to TSP, the temperature does not affect it. 4) Traffic noise increases with the increase of traffic flow, the value of sound pressure level relatively increase, the main factor to influence the traffic noise is the traffic speed. 5) The air pollution in Zhengzhou is changing into oxide-type from coal-smoke type. Some characteristics of oxide-type air pollution appears in the city area in Zhengzhou.
