Fire behaviour of flammable products in plastic bottles and aerosol cans

摘要

All flammable liquids are classified according to flashpoint (class 1,2a, 2b and 3) and all safety measures have always been calculated with the idea that a liquid with low flashpoint is a greater hazard than one with a higher flashpoint. Some of the results of this work show the opposite. These results manly originate from the type of plastic bottles that are used for storing the flammable liquids.
