. Initial moisture content of 39.65% dry basis and the final moisture content of 17.04% dry basis. The humidity decreases with time and temperature raise. Drying the nipa palm with solar dryer was very well dried and clearly, when set up the controlling temperature higher than 50 °C. Also, set up the controlling temperature at 60 °C that the temperature inside the fumigator averaged at 57.52 °C. The drying time of 6 hours per day, when consider a solar dryer, it would be costed more than two units. Considering the electricity consumption between solar drying and conventional electric dryers. The breakeven point is 371 days.
