We investigated the efficiency of a parallel duct-type energy conversion device utilizing a magnetic fluid under a nonuniform magnetic field with using the results of heat conduction theory, the theoretical results taking the internal angular momentum into account, and particles aggregation model. The experimental results can be investigated qualitatively and quantitatively. The efficiency is varied by the performance of the magnetic field distribution.
