We investigated the efficiency of a parallel duct-type energy conversion device utilizing a magnetic fluid under a nonuniform magnetic field using the results of heat conduction theory, the theoretical results taking the internal angular momentum into account, and a particle aggregation model The experimental results can be investigated qualitatively and quantitatively. The efficiency varies according to the performance of the magnetic field distribution.
