摘要

This work introduces a back-to-back modified T-type half-bridge (BBTHB) module for a cascaded multilevel inverter. The proposed structure generates a high quantity of levels by reducing the power electronics devices and the total blocking voltage on power switches. A detailed comparison is made with other comparable multilevel inverter structures to prove the superiority of the proposal. The performance of the cascaded BBTHB module is tested under MATLAB/Simulink software.
