The modern machine industry is becoming more and more important to the machining accuracy of the machine tool. The thermal characteristics of the spindle and spindle box are one of the main factors that affect the precision of the machine tool. In this paper, for the MJ-520MC/Y CNC turning and milling machining center, the 3D solid modeling of the spindle and the spindle box of the machining center is carried out. Secondly, the heat source of the main heat source is analyzed. Finally, the thermal load and boundary conditions were determined, the analysis on the finite element analysis software ANSYS Workbench 16.1 using the sequential coupling method of spindle box assembly, the temperature distribution of the temperature field obtained as thermal loading to the model, and the bottom of the bed and bedside box constrained contact surface of all degrees of freedom, deformation calculation images of the spindle system to get hot, get the maximum total deformation is about 0.10437mm, which laid the foundation for the design of spindle component calculation.
