IT TRAINING NEEDS IN BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Currently business world are on the crossroads. The increasing operating ratio and the decreasing and ever changing market share are leading companies to a grave crisis. They have to think of innovative ways to maintain their market share and increase their profitability for their survival. Efficiently managing information and using it to its advantage can tackle all the major problems, which the companies are facing. For this an effective training programme in information management is essential for all the officers and supervisors of business world i.e. top management, middle management, and frontline management, for managing information on Intranet, Extranet, and the Internet, are different.rnThis paper is an attempt to identify the training needs of these three levels of managers, by using several frameworks. It also charts a methodology for implementation of these identified training needs resulting in an overall improvement in Business Organizations.
