A SURVEY ON PUBLICATIONS IN FUSION RESEARCH AND TECHNOLOGY SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY INDICATORS IN FUSION RT

Scientific publications disseminate research results and are therefore an interesting subject forrnscience and technology analysis. Bibliographic databases contain scientific publications which arernindexed and structured. The paper considers Fusion Research and Technology records) which arernstored in the International Nuclear Information System (INIS) bibliographic database. For the firstrntime, all scientometric and bibliometric information specific to a selected field of science andrntechnology contained in a bibliographic database, using INIS records, is analysed and quantified. Arnvariety of new science and technology indicators which can be used for assessing research andrndevelopment activities are also presented.
