摘要

Cultivating talents with comprehensive qualification is the aim of engineering training at colleges and universities, and the open teaching model can maximize the resources of engineering training base,facilities and teachers, so setting up the open and comprehensive teaching model is becoming a hot topic in the teaching reform of engineering training.As a comprehensive teaching system, flexible manufacture system (FMS) for teaching can supply students with a practical platform.But engineering training is offered at the early stage of college, the open teaching model for FMS has better teaching effect.FMS is a training project which has a high requirement to the comprehensive ability of students,such as knowing the microelectronics technology, information and computer technology, machine and control equipment and so on.So it can play an important role in promoting the open teaching model of engineering training, and it can offer a good platform for students to learn professional courses and implement innovation training.The necessity of implementing open teaching model is analyzed, and then the teaching functions and effects of open teaching model of FMS are introduced.Practice has proved that the open teaching model have good effects in the teaching of FMS, so it is deserve extending in other training programs of modern engineering training.
