Abstract: Intracavity phase distortions of radiation in theactive medium of copper-vapor lasers are experimentallystudied. By means of expansion of radiation wavefrontdeformations in Zernike polynomials, an analysis ofaberrations spectrum contributing to the deformationsis carried out. Device of phase-conjugated intracavityadaptive system designed to correct the deformationsand technique of controlling the system are presented.The proposed technique avoids using computer-aidedcalculation of adaptive mirror control signals, whichincreases operation speed of the system and thereforecorrection precision.!2
