Summer Experience Perceptions: North Carolina State's Nuclear Engineering Students

A project in progress, this paper reports on initial observations. From a 40% response rate of current undergraduate nuclear engineering students at North Carolina State University, 26% obtained industry internships. Their ease of obtaining positions ranged from easy to delayed response from companies. They reported an overall positive interviewing process in which our outreach programs were beneficial in preparing them.
