摘要

Selections of strategies for managing environmental systems can be enhanced by incorporating climatic and temporal variations into the decision process. For problems dealing with water flow and solute transport in terrains featuring standing bodies of water (ponds), surrounding soil, and plants, a new model, WETLANDS, provides a flexible and powerful means for incorporating the impact of climatic variation on field-scale systems.
