Internet technology for instruction in and out of classroom

摘要

New technologies are being used at increasing levels from elementary schools to the institutions of higher learning for effective instruction. There are different tools such as multimedia, Internet tools, World Wide Web, and those based on artificial intelligence, which are used in this context. Point-to-point delivery mechanism to broadcast systems are used for distance education. This paper discusses how some of the very common tools such as word processor, spreadsheet, presentation tool, and etc., along with email facility may be used to aid course delivery and management in an instructional environment. It is not the sophistication and attractive displays of the tools involved, rather the simplicity and cost-effectiveness that makes it attractive.
