Recently, Bhattacharya et al. [2] have modified the design of a standard rotation al rheometer in order to measure the rheological properties of settling fluid mixtures and supspensions. In this instrument, fluid from the cup and bob section circulates through an adiacent tube in which it is fully agitated by motor-driven paddles.
