摘要

Recent improvements of the Partial Element Equivalent Circuit modeling method are presented. This method has been proved to be well-adapted to optimize electrical distribution devices thanks to the non meshing of air. However, standard PEEC analytical formulations are limited to magnetically-homogeneous media. In order to be fully suitable to design actual power distribution devices, enhancements of the PEEC method to take ferromagnetic media into account should be proposed. Such an extension is given here, allowing to evaluate currents, volume Joule losses, loop inductances in any linear media for low frequency application, along with their related optimizations.
