摘要

This paper describes the performance and configuration of a DONA_#alpha# network in which the switching and control subsystems are deployed as independent nodes, i.e., as a control node (CN) and switching nodes (SNs). To clarify the DONA_#alpha# performance characteristics, the network behavior was simulated with the function allocation ratio between the CN and SN, the processore perofrmance of the CN and Sn, and link bandwidth as parameters. It showed that - Call throughput and message throughput are increased by using a CN with a higher-performmance processor.
