Dependences of the level of receiving circuit current pulsation of a contactless electric locomotive while using direct current pulse-width converter in the circuit to control traction drive upon the parameters of π-shaped filter components and commutation frequency of a converter have been obtained basing upon the use of topological method of directed graphs. The proposed method has made it possible to calculate filter parameters and give certain recommendations as for the converter commutation frequency according to the condition of providing minimum level of current pulsation of the electric locomotive receiving circuit.
