A WEB BROWSER FOR INTERNET TVUSING A PROXY SERVER

摘要

In this paper, we introduce the development of arnWeb browser system for Internet TV1 based on a proxyrnserver. To solve the problems from Internet TV capability,rnwe take a distributed architecture using a proxy serverrnwhich automatically modifies the Web contents by HTMLrnconversion as well as Web image conversion. Through thernproxy server, richly formatted Web contents for a PC arernadapted to match the capabilities of TV displays andrnconnection speeds. Our Web browser system consists ofrnthree subsystems. The HTML engine and the HTMLrnbrowser work on a TV set-top box while the HTTP proxyrnserver takes a place on independent server machine.
