Collaborative Team Learning Approach for Web Development

摘要

This paper presents a collaborative team learningmodel for integrating student learning in a graduate IScourse and a graduate HCI course. Through coordinatedproject schedules of partnering teams, an emphasis onsocial interaction, and the use of collaborativetechnologies, students expanded their experience indeveloping Internet commerce Web sites. For the HCIteams, they learned realistic consulting experience. Forthe IS teams, HCI support led to high quality Web siteprototypes. This paper reviews the motivation,approaches, evaluation methods, findings, andimplications of this innovative teaching method.
