Breeding Soybean Cultivars for Specific Purposes in Shandong Province

摘要

Soybean is not only used to produce protein, oil and high-protein feed, but also for special purposes such as vegetable, seasoning, healthy food, drink, and herbal medicine. Since early 1980s, we have been working on the research and breeding of soybean cultivars for specific utilization. Many special germplasm were collected and more than 1000 crosses were made. 9 specific utilization cultivars and some lines have been released in Shandong province.
