This paper discusses shunting inhibitory cellular neural net-works (SICNNs) with time-varying and distributed delays. It introduces the establishment of some new suffcient conditions for the existence and exponential stability of the almost periodic solutions without assuming the global Lipschitz conditions of activation functions. Finally, it presents a numerical example to demonstrate the effectiveness of the obtained result.
