摘要

In this paper, the dispersion management is controlled against thermal variations employing dynamic coupler; a novel suggested technique in ultra-wide wavelength division multiplexing nonlinear high speed multifiber optical communication networks. The total links in space division multiplexing are divided into subgroups of different geometrical and chemical characteristics but have the same chromatic dispersion at different thermal conditions. The dynamic coupler is thermally actuated manually or electronically via programmable logic controller from a subgroup to another one to sustain the chromatic dispersion at fixed value and consequently control the high speed performance of the optical fiber cable. Each subgroup in this study is designed to work at constant temperature, and dispersion. The processed software squeezed the chromatic dispersion at a given value over the range from -0.05 up to -0.15 psec/(km.nm).
