In this paper, we study how the viewing anglerncharacteristics of a bend cell can be compensated byrnuniaxial films such as positive a-plate, negative cplaternand circular polarizer. Especially, it isrnconfirmed how the circular polarizer composed of arnquarter-wave plate and a linear polarizer enhancesrnthe viewing angle characteristics by the Poincarérnsphere representation. Also, additional compensationrnfilm is designed to improve the viewing anglerncharacteristics of the cell by the Poincaré spherernrepresentation.
