The Measure System for Instantaneous Rotate Speed Base on the Parallel Port of PC

In the field of measurement, the personal computer is used everywhere. As the standard configure device, almost every personal computer is configured with a parallel port. Thus, there are many kinds of devices in different applications controlled by the computer through the parallel port. The instantaneous rotate speed is a very important parameter in the measurement of mechanism. Through analyzing the variation of parameter about the instantaneous rotate speed, we could diagnose the failure of the system, analyze the working state and estimate the power etc. In this paper, we introduced a measuring system for instantaneous rotate speed base on the parallel port of personal computer.
