According to the world health organization, diseases of the cardiovascular system occupy a leading place among the pathologies on disability and mortality in developed countries, and the defeat of coronary arteries, in turn, leads to coronary heart disease. The simulation of condition and parameters of coronary arteries with atherosclerotic lesions is an actual problem of modern biomechanics. The aim of the present work was to study the stress-strain state of the intact portion of the coronary artery with uniform circular stenosis. 3D computer modeling of the stress - strain state of the intact portion of the coronary artery with a circular irregular stenosis, the study of its mechanical parameters in accordance with the load on it with the atherosclerotic plaque and during stenting was performed. Comparative analysis of the influence of boundary conditions fixing the coronary arteries relative to the epicardium and geometric characteristics of the stenosis on the basic mechanical parameters of the stress-strain state of an artery was realized. The results of this analysis allow to minimize the dimension of the input data that affect the computer simulation. The results of study suggest of the necessity of development and creation of expert decision support system for interventional cardiologist in the field of stent size selection and balloon blowup pressure to reduce the traumatization of the endothelial vessel's layer during the operation, as well as reducing the duration of the procedure.
