Operator method in a plane waveguide eigenmodes diffraction problem by finite and semiinfinite system of slots

The diffraction by finite and semiinfinite system of slots in one wall of a plane waveguide is considered. The solution is obtained with the use of the operator method. The slots interaction via free space is taken into account.
