This paper analyzes and compares the classical PageRank algorithm and the HITS algorithm with their respective problems, and gives an improved PageRank algorithm with giving different weights for different links to improve the algorithm quality of the result set. But there are also many problems, it is particularly striking is that PageRank is from the start of the Web's link structure, and did not take into account the content of Web page itself. Therefore, Web structure mining studies should focus on the link structure and page content considered together to obtain a more optimal result set.
