Remanufacturing is an industrial process in which usedrnproducts are completely disassembled and then removed partsrnare cleaned, often refurbished, and assembled, if necessary,rnwith new parts. This paper deals with scheduling in suchrnremanufacturing. If we make a schedule by conventionalrnmethods, we can not perform remanufacturing according to thernschedule since there are a lot of uncertainties inrnremanufacturing. To address this issue, we apply real-timernscheduling approach to remanufacturing. This approach doesrnnot make a schedule in advance of remanufacturing execution,rnbut the approach makes a decision every time it is to be madernduring the remanufacturing execution. Simulations are carriedrnout to show the effectiveness of the approach.
