摘要

Corrosion resistance of different cemented carbides has been nvestigated. As parameters different binder content and refractory metal carb de additions were studied in various media with different pH values. As media 1n sulphuric acid, sodium sulphate and sodium hydroxide solution were used. An increase of pH shifted corrosion potential to more negative values due to lower current densities of cathodic reaction. Additions of refractory metal carbides such as Cr_3C_2, TiC and TaC increased corrosion res stance. The effect of carbide addition is discussed.
