Chromosomal polymorphic variation (polymorphism) has been reported to be associated with infertility. Although advanced assisted reproductive technique (ART)，in vitro fertilization (IVF) and intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI)，have been widely used for severe male infertility, the effect of male chromosomal polymorphism on the outcome of IVF/ICSI is still unclear. In order to evaluate the role of chromosomal polymorphism occurred in male played in spermatogenesis and their impacts on IVF /ICSIET outcome， we retrospectively analyzed 281 infertile couples undergoing IVF/ICSI-ET treatment with or without polymorphic chromosome.
