The problem of severe deviation control is already exposure in the gas drilling experimentation of inland oil and gas fields. To controlling deviation, the actual WOB is usually adopted in the lower range,which results in indefiniteness of ROP increasing and predominance of gas drilling. Even though this way,the problem of deviation control is not solved preferably. The slick collar pendulum assembly in drill with a stabilized angle of inclination of directional well is studied in this paper. Firstly,the stabilization principle of slick assembly for gas drilling is approached and the relate calculation method is given. Then, several key parameters of directional well zenith angle tabilization drilling for gas drilling design is discussed emphases. Finally, the practical applications effects of slick assembly are analyzed and appraised based on the field practice instance in nitrogen gas drilling of Dayi 1 well, which result in the conclude that the hold angle problem of directional well gas drilling can be solved by slick assembly and its reason drilling parameters.
