A calibration apparatus for calibrating a compass and/or tilt sensor module includes a longitudinal support having a support axis; a first longitudinal member coupled to the longitudinal support to be rotatable around the support axis relative to the longitudinal support and a second longitudinal member connected to the first longitudinal member to be rotatable around a second longitudinal member axis relative to the first longitudinal member.
