Unlike this prototype, the proposed utility model contains models of bones, cartilage, lymph nodes, and vertebral arteries. Due to this, greater realism is achieved and the scope of application is expanded. The task to be solved by the claimed utility model is the creation of a phantom for ultrasound research, characterized by realistic modeling and the resulting realistic observation conditions using ultrasound diagnostic tools. The technical result provided by the given set of features is to increase the degree of correspondence of the phantom structure to the structure of the human thyroid gland and the resulting increase in the realism of the conditions for conducting ultrasound experiments for the purpose of training specialists and thereby improving the quality of mastering ultrasound diagnostic techniques and manipulations under the control of ultrasound imaging performed with using a phantom. Working with a phantom will provide skills in differential diagnosis of thyroid nodules, assessment of the size of the thyroid gland and thyroid nodules, and the skill of inserting a needle to take a biopsy sample.
