MJO BSISO METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PREDICTING SEASONAL CLIMATE BASED ON MJO INDEX AND BSISO INDEX

A method and apparatus for seasonal climate prediction based on the MJO index and the BSISO index are disclosed. The seasonal climate prediction method includes the steps of determining a predictor variable including the MJO index and the BSISO index according to the region and season for which the climate is to be predicted; and generating seasonal climate prediction information by applying the predictor variable, a regression coefficient of the predictor variable, and a Gaussian residual to a multiple linear regression model.
