FIELD: diamond trade.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a diamond trade system and a diamond trade method. Inner and outer parts of each rough diamond are scanned. A three-dimensional model is created, demonstrating the location of spatial and physical properties of each rough diamond based on the inner part of the rough diamond and the outer part of the rough diamond. A production process type is determined for each rough diamond, based on an offer price, the most valuable of produced faceted diamonds, production processing parameters, client’s parameters, client’s technical requirements, and the effect of a parameter range for a faceting type and a faceting method on spatial and physical properties of each rough diamond of an image file, in order to obtain faceted diamond parameters.;EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of distribution of rough diamonds by production types for the production of faceted diamonds.;12 cl, 2 dwg
