The present invention provides a method for establishing a segment routing tunnel based on the IPv6 data plane using the Path Computing Element Communication Protocol (PCEP). A method for establishing a segment routing tunnel comprises the step of a path computation element (PCE) generating a first PCEP message. Here, the first PCEP message includes indication information and a segment identifier (SID), and the indication information indicates that the SID is an IPv6 prefix of a node in the tunnel. A first path calculation client (PCC) receives a first PCEP message from the PCE, and the first PCC establishes an SRv6 tunnel from the first PCC to the second PCC.
