The purpose of the present disclosure is to provide an absorbent article that resists movement of a thermal comfort solution when not worn and easily imparts thermal comfort when worn. This absorbent article has the following configuration. An absorbent article (1) having a waist region (WR) that is capable of extending in a waist direction (Wa), the absorbent article (1) being equipped with an absorbent body (5) and a thermal comfort member (7) for imparting thermal comfort to a wearer, and the thermal comfort member (7) being disposed in the waist region (WR) that is capable of extending in the waist direction (Wa), wherein the absorbent article (1) is characterized in that: the thermal comfort member (7) is equipped with a thermal-comfort-imparting layer (101), a liquid-impermeable layer (131), and a thermal comfort solution holding layer (121) that contains a thermal comfort solution; the thermal comfort solution includes a thermal comfort agent that activates TRP channels, and a solvent; and the thermal-comfort-imparting layer (101) is equipped with a plurality of openings (107) that are capable of releasing the thermal comfort solution when the waist region (WR) is extended in the waist direction (Wa).
