CORRELATING HEALTH CONDITIONS WITH BEHAVIORS FOR TREATMENT PROGRAMS IN NEUROHUMORAL BEHAVIORAL THERAPY

A method builds models for selecting healthcare treatment programs. For each health condition, the method provides a first plurality of scientific documents that each specify a correlation between the health condition and one or more neurohumoral factors (NHFs), and calculates a correlation coefficient between the health condition and each of the NHFs. For each NHF, the method provides a second plurality of scientific documents that each specify a correlation between the NHF and one or more behaviors, and calculates a correlation coefficient between the NHF and each of the behaviors. The method then forms a model that correlates health conditions to treatment programs based on the correlation coefficients between health conditions and NHFs, the correlation coefficients between NHFs and treatment behaviors, and correspondence between behaviors and treatment programs. The method also stores the model in a database for subsequent use in providing treatment programs for treating health conditions.
