PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for enhancing security of a function executing device in a situation where an administrator password of the function executing device is changed. SOLUTION: A function executing device has a memory in which a function executing unit, an administrator authentication information, and a user authentication information are stored, and when the user password is input to request execution of the function. When the input of the user password is accepted, the input user authentication information which is the user authentication information corresponding to the entered user password matches any one or more user authentication information stored in the memory.
