To provide a system and a method for identifying a dangerous object.SOLUTION: In a system and a method for identifying a dangerous object using causal inference, the method includes the processes to: receive at least one image of a driving scene of an own vehicle; analyze the at least one image to detect and track mobile objects in the driving scene of the own vehicle; remove the mobile objects captured in the at least one image one by one therefrom through masking the same; analyze change levels associated with driving behavior when the mobile objects are removed one by one from the image; and identify at least one mobile object as a dangerous object having the highest level of influence on the driving behavior.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
