The present disclosure provides a rear cover assembly applied to a terminal device. The rear cover assembly comprises a rear cover body, an antenna layer and a film coating layer which are sequentially arranged from inside to outside in the thickness direction of the rear cover assembly, and the rear cover assembly further comprises a conductive connection member, wherein a first end of the connection member is electrically connected to the antenna layer, and a second end of the connection member penetrates the rear cover body and is located in a space defined by the rear cover body. The present disclosure further provides a terminal device and a method for manufacturing the rear cover assembly.
