The present application relates to a composition for inhibiting beta-lactamase comprising a sesterterpine compound or a derivative thereof, and an antibiotic composition comprising the composition. Since the composition for inhibiting beta-lactamase according to an embodiment of the present application can inhibit the activity of all classes of beta-lactamase, it is used alone or in combination with a beta-lactamase antibiotic to produce beta-lactamase. Therefore, it can be applied to preventing or treating diseases caused by infection and infection of microorganisms such as various bacteria, bacteria, and pathogens that are resistant to beta-lactam antibiotics.
