To provide methods capable of discriminating serous egg adenocarcinoma and clear cell adenocarcinoma in ovarian cancer.SOLUTION: Provided is a method of discriminating between serous adenocarcinoma and clear cell adenocarcinoma tissue types based on a gene expression profile obtained in a test sample derived from an ovarian cancer patient, the method comprising a step of measuring the expression level of each gene in a gene set comprising at least three genes selected from a discrimination gene group, each gene being selected so that the total value of the gene expression score of each gene comprised in the gene set is equivalent to or more than the total value of the gene expression score of GLRX gene, GDF15 gene, and GABARAPL1 gene.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
