To provide an article attitude changing device and an article attitude changing method by which an article can be rearranged in a correct attitude.SOLUTION: An article attitude changing device comprises: a first end effector which can hold a projected tag of an article by adsorption; an arm part which supports the first end effector, and can move the first end effector at least along a vertical direction; and a control part which controls the arm part and the first end effector to hold the tag, thereby lifting the article upward and separating the article from a loading surface, and changing an angle of the article by a self-weight thereof, and to move the article and place the article on the loading surface, and to release holding of the tag.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
