A method for enhancing the reservoir stability in a hydrate exploitation process, which belongs to the field of natural gas hydrate exploitation, based on the reservoir characteristic of the argillaceous silty sand hydrate in the Shenhu Sea area of the South China Sea, and injecting a mortar containing a compound clay stabilizer into the natural gas hydrate reservoir, wherein each component in the clay stabilizer by weight percentage is 100%, and the composition of each component is 5% of KCl, 20-40% of a Gemini quaternary ammonium salt clay stabilizer, 10% of aluminium polychlorid Al 2Cl(OH) 5, and the balance being clear water or seawater. On the one hand, the use of the clay stabilizer in well cementing can not only reduce the expansion of clay, but can also avoid the dispersive migration of the soil particles; on the other hand, the mortar containing a clay stabilizer can effectively enhance the cementing between the soil particles and hydrate molecules and increase the formation strength, thereby reducing geological disasters and engineering problems that may occur during hydrate depressurizing exploitation.
