The vehicle lamp (01) comprises at least one illuminant (20) comprising at least one light source (02) for fulfilling at least one light function, receiving means (30) for light (101) directed onto the vehicle lamp, and actuating means connected to the receiving means (30) for activation at least one illuminant (20) provided to fulfill the active retroreflective light function. The actuating means activate the illuminant (20) provided to fulfill the active retroreflective light function depending on whether the vehicle lamp (01) is illuminated or not.
